Rams' Puka Nacua is thrilled for Super Bowl, but can he win rookie award?

Puka Nacua walked as if he were investigating a new pass route for the Rams as he crossed the vast aisles of audio and video installations that were located in Radio Row, which was located in the media center for the Super Bowl.

Nacua, who is a finalist for the NFL's rookie offensive player of the year award, spent a significant portion of Wednesday engaging in interviews,

making promotional appearances, and taking part in a panel discussion on football, player tracking, and Next Gen statistics.

"It's been crazy," Nacua added with a grin on her face. "Cam Newton and I just met over there," I said. Meeting these individuals has been an amazing experience.

I suppose that now that the season is done, people are aware of who I am.

I assume that's the general consensus. I still want to have the opportunity to be a fan to them, and I want to say something like, "Hey, I need to introduce myself to you."

After a record-setting season, Nacua, who was selected in the fifth round of the draft, became more well-known.

He had 105 receptions for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns for a Rams club that finished 10-7 and earned a playoff berth, which was a surprising accomplishment given the expectations that were placed on them.
